We had such a great time visiting Banff. It was, hands down, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Waking up every morning to the sun rising over the mountain tops was heavenly. It's hard to believe we left frigid Minnesota and went somewhere even colder... but it was so beautiful, we didn't even think about the cold. Okay, we thought about the cold a little. But still. Mountains!
We spent our days exploring the mountains, and the Canmore/Banff/Lake Louise area. Andrew snowboarded with old friends (everyone was in town for a wedding the Saturday after New Years), and Eve even learned to ski. We were totally blown away with her skiing! She is a natural.
Yes, I grabbed a stranger's ski poles for the photo above. Eve was like, uhh... Mom? What are these things that are as tall as me? Hah.
And, a few from the wedding. The reason we went on the trip in the first place!
